Terms and conditions 

 

  1. Promotor’s name and address and prize details
  • The competition is run by RideCloud. RideCloud is a start-up by ING which is developed in-house by the ING Innovation Lab in Amsterdam. All of our activities are closely monitored by external governmental bodies as RideCloud is part of ING Bank N.V. (“Promotor”, “we“, “us“, “our“, “ING“). This means that ING is regulated and licensed by the De Nederlandsche Bank (‘DNB’) and the European Central Bank (‘ECB’). ING is also regulated and licensed by the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (‘AFM’) and regulated by the Autoriteit Consument & Markt (‘ACM’). ING has its statutory seat in Amsterdam at Bijlmerplein 888, 1102 MG, The Netherlands, Trade Register number 33031431.
  • Each prize comprises one full refund of the cost of a journey taken with a mobility provider through the RideCloud App that the judges will select in accordance with these terms and conditions. There are five prizes. There are no alternative prizes.

 

  1. Conditions for entry
  • The competition is open to residents of the Netherlands who are over the age of 18 (“Participants”).
  • Employees of ING and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this competition.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  • By entering this competition, the Participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Multiple entries will be accepted.
  • We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.
  • We accept no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • The competition start date is 17 September 2018 and closing date for the entry will be 23:59 PM on 30 September 2018 (“Competition Period”). Entries submitted after the closing time may not be considered.

 

  1. How to participate
  • To participate in this competition, Participants have to:
  • Book a ride with a mobility provider through the RideCloud app during the Competition Period; and
  • Submit answers to the 5 questions in our email to you about your RideCloud experience before the end of the Competition Period.

 

  1. Selection of the winners
  • The 5 prize winners will be selected by a panel of judges on or about 30 September 2018. This is a game of skill.  Chance plays no part in determining a winner.  Winning entries will be those that the panel considers to be the most creative answer.
  • The selection of the winners by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The winner will be notified via email. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize from the date that they are announced as a winner. After this time we reserve the right to judge the remaining entrants a new winner.

 

  1. Personal Data
  • By taking part of this competition, all Participants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purpose of this promotion.
  • Any personal data related to Participants will be used in accordance with the RideCloud privacy statement and will not be used for marketing purposes without the individual’s prior consent.

 

  1. General
  • Nothing in these terms and conditions will limit ING’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands and any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
